Dr Wan Abdul Rahim Wedding Reception - Part II

Here we go, part II of Wan's wedding reception. From top, zahra " drop dead gorgeous" posing, razeen and God knows whose car is it @ B2 parking lot, razeen and long-time buddy Feryal (Kak azrin's son), ayah and kids, me and friends with the newly wed,we all posing at the table with kak azrin's mum and one of our x-friends at Cosmo KL, anis. The bottom pic, Wan & Indah at the "pelamin" and during "Makan beradap" session.

Dr Wan Abdul Rahim Wedding Reception - Part I

Hi.. it's been quite a while since last entry. Today i've got a chance to upload Part I Wan wedding reception or a.k.a Dr Wan ( he just received his PhD on last May-congrats~~really proud of ur strong determination and hardwork)@ Grand Blue Wave Hotel, Shah Alam on Friday, 12th June 2009. His partner is Indah, what a beautiful name to a lovely lady whom could meltdown the stone heart of Wan.For the record, Wan is one of my good friends back then when i was at Cosmo Ipoh.

The time just hitted 7.30pm when we arrived at Shah Alam, so we decided to stop at SACC Mall, to find a surau and mingling around, take a couple of photos and headed to the hotel when the clock shows 8.15pm.

We are the first couple registering at our table : no.16, all of my other friends whether still finding a parking lot or stranded at the heavy traffic heading to Shah Alam.

Kak azrin and her family arrived shortly after us, at about 8.40pm and the rest, kak haifa and Ina salam families are the late arrival aaahaa.. I'm so thrill to see all of my friends as it's been a long time i've been seen or talking to them.

At 9.00pm the MC announced the arrival of the bride and bridegroom.They were wearing a beautiful cream yellowish malay wedding outfit heading towards the stage, beautifully created and out of sudden the stage full of the photographers. There was a Food Presentation from the hotel crew and the food it' s yummy, just the part that i can't fully concentrated on the food, coz my kids it's jumping around all over the place. My friends and I said, Wan really did a good job to really isolated us with table that near to the exit door and next to the the wall, perfect spot Wan, Thanks..

Rest assured, the wedding reception it's Really Great.. Great choices of songs selection ( i love the Mariah carey & Ning of course)..Woo Hooo.. and to Wan and Indah.. CONGRATULATIONS!!

Sad Moments of Having a Pair of Jeans

Last weekend, desparately i need a pair of new jeans. All my jeans are bored to be put in or where as most of it is already not fit in anymore.. Without any further hesitation, i suggest to my hubby to go to ".." for shopping spree!! yeaaa..
After lingering around the shops, finally i'd found a nice jeans (with an advice from my hubby, of course), and after a while i'm having a difficulties moments to figure it out on the numbers of size that i should try with.

The sales man said, " might be u can try ".." this size first"hmm.. ok i guess, so i grab the mentioned jeans and straight away go to the fitting room, and i laughed at heart"Ingat aku ni besar sgt ke nak bagi saiz ni.. ok takpe aku cube.. kalo besar jage kau salesman.."

With full of surprise the size that was given to me, was totally can't go up any further from my thigh.. Oh My! Takkan tak muat kot.. Ciss.. dengan muka karton, i said to my husband" u tak muat', one more size up please.. and ofcourse the sales man gave a half smile look (musti dak tu kutuk aku tak sedar diri ciss), and get me another jeans with one size up, for me to fit in..

And it fit with me quite well.. although a bit tight at my thigh, but i think it cool enough (takkan nak tambah satu lagi saiz kott.!! arrggh).

"Ok u.. bayarkan ekk.. tima kasehh.." with a kitty look to my husband.(heheh)

So, the moral of the stories are:
a) i'm not slim anymore :(
b) i'd already put on weight :(
c) Never try a new jeans, without even bothered to investigate your actual size :(
d) Don't try a jeans with a salesman is accompanying you :(

so, from (a)-(d) mentioned above are all the sad moments for me..huhuhu~~~

But nevertheless, there is good reason why i'd accidentally (opps!) got another number of size for a jeans.. because i had already two lovely kids, n i'm a mommy.. I'm sure that's a pretty good and solid reason to give on.. rite!!
In a way, i'm still looking forward to find a mechanism on how to maintain my body, so it's still functioning well as how it should be.. HELP ME!!

It's always fun to write about research that you can actually try out for yourself.
Try this: Take a photo and upload it to Facebook, then after a day or so, note what the URL to the picture is (the actual photo, not the page on which the photo resides), and then delete it. Come back a month later and see if the link works. Chances are: It will.
Facebook isn't alone here. Researchers at Cambridge University (so you know this is legit, people!) have found that nearly half of the social networking sites don't immediately delete pictures when a user requests they be removed. In general, photo-centric websites like Flickr were found to be better at quickly removing deleted photos upon request.
Why do "deleted" photos stick around so long? The problem relates to the way data is stored on large websites: While your personal computer only keeps one copy of a file, large-scale services like Facebook rely on what are called content delivery networks to manage data and distribution. It's a complex system wherein data is copied to multiple intermediate devices, usually to speed up access to files when millions of people are trying to access the service simultaneously. (Yahoo! Tech is served by dozens of servers, for example.) But because changes aren't reflected across the CDN immediately, ghost copies of files tend to linger for days or weeks.
In the case of Facebook, the company says data may hang around until the URL in question is reused, which is usually "after a short period of time." Though obviously that time can vary considerably.
Of course, once a photo escapes from the walled garden of a social network like Facebook, the chances of deleting it permanently fall even further. Google's caching system is remarkably efficient at archiving copies of web content, long after it's removed from the web. Anyone who's ever used Google Image Search can likely tell you a story about clicking on a thumbnail image, only to find that the image has been deleted from the website in question -- yet the thumbnail remains on Google for months. And then there are services like the Wayback Machine, which copy entire websites for posterity, archiving data and pictures forever.
The lesson: Those drunken party photos you don't want people to see? Simply don't upload them to the web, ever, because trying to delete them after you sober up is a tough proposition.

So guys, really thinks super duper twice before uploading inappropriate images on the web, who knows u might be the hottest or important person in town in next couple of years and later your "so called of my private and personal things images" will ruined up everything..
